Meet the Team

Marc Johnson

Managing Director

Marc joined LivePay in 2011 as a graduate, he started in our Support Team looking after incoming calls and customer queries, then moving into the Bureau team after 12 months. In 2013 he then took up the Bureau Manager position, following on from this his remit expanded gradually to include the Support Team and later the Projects Team. During this period he also qualified with a degree in payroll management from the CIPP. He first took the position of Director in 2019 after managing the growth of the Bureau operation from 160 payrolls up to over 300 payrolls, this was then followed up by taking the helm in November 2022 as Managing Director.

Marc has a passion for customer service and ensuring all the problems that are experienced at other companies are never repeated at LivePay, this includes having targets for answering the phones from customers within 8 seconds by a payroll expert. A firm foundation in continuous training and development of the team as well as promoting work life balance throughout the company.

Outside of work Marc is a hockey player playing for North Notts HC since 1999, represented Nottinghamshire from 2005-2007 and also has a keen interest in Land Rovers.

Alex Barton

Bureau Manager

Alex joined LivePay in 2014 as an Apprentice within the Bureau Team, she completed her apprenticeship qualification and then progressed onto completing the CIPP degree in Payroll Management. During this time she moved from Bureau into Support having gained a good understanding in payroll processing and technical knowledge to support customers with their ad-hoc queries.

In 2017 Alex returned to the Bureau Team but this time in the role of Bureau Manager, ensuring that all of LivePay’s payrolls are processed accurately and on time, meeting all of the customers expectations. Alex’s studying did not stop after the degree in Payroll Management as she then went on to achieve the Masters Degree in Strategic Leadership, this has now put her membership with the CIPP to ‘Fellow’.

Outside of work Alex enjoys supporting Nottingham Panthers and reading Steven King novels.

Natalia Lubiejewska

Implementation Team Leader

Natalia joined LivePay in 2019 as an apprentice within our Bureau Team, she quickly understood how payroll worked and became proficient at processing. This combined with her excellent customer relationship building ability allowed her to move into the Implementation Team.

Once in the Implementation Team Natalia was able to implement payrolls and ensure that customers had everything they needed during parallel runs and upon initial live running. This has meant that she quickly progressed to becoming the Implementation Team Leader in 2020.

Through her time at LivePay Natalia has been able to onboard a great number of customers from small 1-2 person payrolls right up to our larger clients, including some high profile customers. Regardless of where your payroll comes from and the problems you have had, Natalia and her team will get your payroll up to speed and suggest improvements how the process can be more efficient. She is currently working through her CIPP degree in Payroll Management.

Natalia is also fluent in Polish after she lived in Poland until she was 6 years old and is currently learning Romanian.

Jack Housley

Customer Support

Jack joined the team in 2019 as an Apprentice, initially working within the Bureau Team processing payrolls and then later moved on to the Setup team where he helped onboard new customers whilst gaining further experience on payroll processing and a technical understanding of the payroll system. Now working within the Support Team, he is responsible for ensuring our award winning 8 second phone response time is met. Jack has a wealth of payroll knowledge and is on hand when you need him.

After completing his Apprenticeship, Jack began his degree in Payroll Management with the CIPP which he is currently studying to solidify his knowledge.

Outside of work Jack enjoys his motorsport and is a Leicester City fan, holding a season ticket since the 2014/15 season.

Joshua Raxworthy

Training & Compliance Officer

Josh joined the team in 2019 as the Training and Compliance Assistant. Josh studied at the University of Lincoln where he obtained a 2:1 BA Hons Degree in History and English. He then furthered his studies at the University of Leicester where he obtained his PGCE for Primary education. Using these skills and a keen eye for compliance he introduced a detailed training scheme at LivePay to ensure all colleagues are highly trained in payroll, the LivePay system and changing legislation.

Within 6 months of him joining, the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme was introduced, and he became responsible for tracking the ever changing legislation alongside calculating and preparing the COVID-19 Furlough reports for our customers.

Josh is nearing the end of the CIPP foundation degree, in which he has grown a wealth of knowledge and understanding. With this, he has created and implemented a complete training package for all staff members to ensure they are aware of all legislative changes and understand the wide variety of payroll calculations, such as calculating PAYE Tax and National Insurance.
Furthermore, Josh is responsible for training all our customers on the LivePay web portal as well as ensuring customer payrolls and processes are fully compliant with the latest legislation.
Within the busier periods, Josh also helps with the Bureau Team and processes customer payrolls.

In his spare time, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife and son going on walks and visiting different National Trust sites with his herd of long haired Chihuahuas (7). He is also a keen football fan and has been a life-long Chelsea fan.
